Team building – welcome back to the outdoors

Finally! After two years of online meetings, online planning, online parties – finally, we get to tap our colleagues’ shoulder and say our warmest hello.

It’s been 24 months since l

ockdown has been imposed in the country – March 15 2020. It was a whirlwind for companies and teams. Everybody has to adapt right away to the limitations brought by the covid pandemic. After a few months, everybody built their own nooks at home we call our home office. And suddenly, everything has and can be done online.

As convenient and comfortable as it seems – to be working in the comforts of our homes, there are still upside on working on site. Among others, most crucial is COMMUNICATION. To put simply, going to the next table to hand over a note or say something to your workmate is always faster, easier and clearer than having to email or chat in circles, that sometimes event get buried to tens of other on

line messages.

All of a sudden, we get to appreciate something so simple as a high five, or that oh-so-hard to read notes from our team member, or those coffee break chats.

What seemed to be for

ever of counting covid cases and waiting for lockdowns is almost over. Now that the we have low alert level in most provinces and cities, more and more teams are trying to get together and spend time outdoors. And why not, it was 2 summers that we didn’t get to share together!

And so this summer, Quest Adventure Camp is super excited to welcome back teams for their annual summer outing and team building. What a great way to reconnect with each other with fun (and tiring) activities outdoors. To laugh with each other, to cheer for each other, to smell one another! Oh what a sight it would be!
