Summer Glamping: How to Enjoy the Outdoors This Hot Season

Summer is finally looming in the corner, and when all this community quarantine is over, and this COVID-19 pandemic has been kicked out of the planet, that much-needed getaway should well be in order.

And while we can only hope for the best during this time, we can always look on the bright side and meticulously create our summer plans — even if it means we can only take it a few months after the summer is over.

Being sulky isn’t the best way to deal with all these stay-at-home campaigns. Think about the sun, the beach, and what could be the best camping trip of your life instead.

And while you’re at it, why not take your imagination elsewhere and go full-on glamping with your friends or family! Your office friends would surely love the idea, too, especially now that you’ve been stuck at your homes completing tasks and workload.

Here’s what you can do to plan that glamping trip while waiting for the right timing to execute them, and when this social distancing scheme has been put to rest:

Choose the Perfect Spot

There are a lot of camping sites that you can go around the Philippines. Some of them offer glamping packages.

Whether you want the hills or the mountain as your scenery, or the ocean as your glamping background, you can because the Philippines is home to a lot of pieces of paradise. There are even areas where waterfalls are just an arm’s reach.

If you have no idea where to get glamping materials, Quest Adventure Camp provides large glamping tents with comfortable pillows, beddings, foams, and even fans and night lamps, and all your other needs!

Know What to Pack

Glamping is literally just another camping trip but with all that glam and comfort.

Packages offered by resorts or third-party providers are mostly adequately equipped, so you won’t have to worry about stashing everything at the back of your car.

You can make a list of things that you need to bring that are not available at the site. Don’t forget to bring a bottle of sunblock since this is the outdoors we are talking about.

You can pack extra snacks and clothes for emergency purposes. Your meds should be inside your bag, too! You might find it hard to look for a nearby drugstore for your special medical needs.

Have a Flexible Itinerary

The beauty of glamping is that there is no pressure as to what you need to be doing on a daily basis.

You don’t have to follow a detailed itinerary religiously. You can read a book inside your tent all day, and no one will hate you for it.

The whole idea of this trip is to relax and be ready for whatever surprise nature decides to give you.

Enjoy and Learn

Aside from relaxing all day under the sun, glamping is another opportunity to learn while having fun. Just like any other trip, you might find interest in things that you don’t see often.

Nature has a way of keeping us at our feet. It keeps us fascinated about the littlest of things.

You might even find interesting facts and information about the place you’re staying at, and be surprised how historic this place was for the country.

Be Creative

Don’t be scared to try new things. If you feel like exploring the nearby forest, go for it. Just be extra careful and find a guide or buddy with you.

It’s all about being creative during trips like this. You don’t have to really be serious about an itinerary. You need to at least surprise yourself once in a while.

Find Activities to Enjoy

If you like reading, go for it. If you love staying outdoors and explore, by all means, do it.

There are no set rules about this trip. The only thing that you should focus on is whether you are enjoying the activities you are doing and that you are learning something from it.

You could try mountain biking if you picked a mountain location for your glamping trip. You can also do snorkeling or free diving if that’s what you want to try. The rest of the activities is up to you.

Plan Your Meals

Meals are an important part of the day. So whether you are at home or on a camping trip, you always have to be prepared to fuel your tank and make sure that you have enough food to eat.

If you plan your meals, it’s less a problem to think about when you’re already at the campsite.

There are also glamping packages that offer meals as part of their services, so you can always pick that option to avoid any hassle.

Charge Your Devices

While you’re out there, you probably have limited access to electricity. You can’t expect your tents to have enough plugs for all your electronic devices.

Besides, you don’t even have to bring all of your digital stuff with you. Phone for communication and a camera for keeping all your glamping memories dear should be enough to cover the entire trip.

Don’t take this “social distancing” for granted. Staying indoors while dreaming of that fancy glamping trip is enough for now until we can all guarantee that it’s safe to go outside. Once this is all over, you can contact Quest Adventure Camp for your glamping needs. They have one of the best services in town to assure you that you’ll have nothing but the best times out there in the open.
